GEARS provides an array of services dedicated to enhancing organizations and communities
through evaluation and applied research. Our slogan " Providing scientific integrity
to the global community " speaks to our mission to assist clients strengthen their
organizations through the use of sound, culturally-grounded, science practice.
GEARS utilizes the Ethnic Validity Approach in conducting all of its research services.
This approach sees each client as a collaborator in achieving their research needs.
Thus, our clients' knowledge, areas of expertise, culture, needs and unique voice
are integrated with sound scientific practice in designing research services. In
addition, this approach aims to assist the client through education in achieving
some level of independence in thinking about their data and documentation needs.
