Evaluating Cultural Competency
Evaluation Workshop for CDC's HSDP Program

Dr. Deborah Brome, Vice President, GEARS and Acting Director, Division of Evaluation and Research, will present on the topic of “Evaluating Cultural Competency” for the May Evaluation Workshop, convened by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Cardiovascular Health Branch, Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention (HDSP) Program. The session is scheduled for Tuesday, May 10, 2005, 2:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. Workshops will last approximately 60 minutes and should be very interactive with audience members. Dr. Brome will be joined by other expert facilitators to address the evaluation needs of CDC’s state grantees. The panel will convene at The Sheraton Buckhead Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia.
